With a 94% score, VMI obtains the EcoVadis Silver label and draws closer to the EcoVadis Gold label.

For its third evaluation, VMI is awarded EcoVadis Silver Label. EcoVadis is the reference platform for evaluating ESG (Environmental, Social, Governance) performance.

This year, VMI achieved a score of 94%, representing significant progress compared to the previous year, and placing VMI among the top 94% of companies evaluated by EcoVadis across all sectors. This improvement reflects VMI’s ongoing commitment to enhancing its ethical, social, and environmental practices. With this progress, VMI is now closer to achieving the EcoVadis Gold label, which recognizes the top 5% of the highest-rated companies (95th percentile). A strong signal to all its employees, partners, and clients, reaffirming its role as a responsible and engaged partner.

The ranking of the overall score is based on the analysis of the supporting documents, proving the top performance of the company in 4 main categories:  

  • Environment
  • Social and Human Rights
  • Ethics
  • Sustainable Procurement 

In full transparency with its stakeholders, VMI provides full details of its assessment at the request of its EcoVadis member partners. 

EcoVadis is the largest rating organization among most trusted in sustainability and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), responsible for the evaluation of more than 75,000 companies worldwide.  

The EcoVadis methodology is based on international reference standards such as the United Nations Global Compact, the ISO 26000 standard, and the Global Reporting Initiative.
